Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has created a lasting impression on television. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. The family moved to Texas in pursuit of her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long and soon made the move into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials and local film productions. Even though she had small part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. She moved to New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role for her first role in a series in The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Her next role was on the brief, but short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on an upcoming drama series. De La Garza was then selected as a role in CSI Miami. She performed the role of Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was on NBC's dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the series was put on hold. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano has an Italian father as well as a sister Cory, who is 10 year younger than her. The family she was raised in was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano began her professional career in the age of seven when her childsitter took her to an audition for acting. Her audition was part of more than 1000 applicants. Her audition was taken for the audition as one of just four girls. Milano made appearances in adverts in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
